Start from a use-case template for certificates, credentials, participation, or awards, and edit only the logo, colors, text, and layout to finish a branded badge.

Editing a badge design does not change badges that were already issued.

Template edits apply only to badges issued afterward; badges and verification links held by existing recipients are preserved with the information at the time of issuance. To keep issuance history intact, design changes are not applied retroactively to issued badges. Typo corrections to recipient information, however, are supported on a per-issuance basis.

Yes — issued badges can be revoked and given an expiry date even after issuance.

A badge issued in error can be revoked, and if a credential has a validity period, set an expiry date so the verification screen shows an expired state after that point. All status changes are reflected on the verification page in real time.

Just open a badge's QR code or unique link to instantly confirm the issuer, earning criteria, and validity. Recruiters and outside institutions can verify authenticity with no sign-up.

Kolleges badges are issued under the 1EdTech Open Badges standard, so they can be checked with external verification tools too.
